I play basketball and I need to be more faster & quicker so I decided to loose some weight, fat and get more stronger. I’m only 15 years old , 5′6-7 and weight 140 lbs. I do a lot exercises but EAT lot so I don’t see any results of loosing. I want to start DIET but don’t know how to start? ANY TIPS & HELP PLEASE?

Just stop eating so much junk and eat less. You already said you eat a lot. Cut out all the fast food. Dont eat so much bread, rice if you eat it, anything oily, pasta, etc…. Try to have a lot of salads, but watch the salad dressing. Have vinegar or lemon or lime juice, no oil. Get in some protein though. Try to stick to chicken and turkey most the time.

Yeah, I can tell you I am a little overweight, well a lot but it doesn’t look like it. I know how to loose the Belly fat of course but I was wondering about the sides, and the stupid "love handles" they are little but get on my nerves. So I was just wondering what exercises I can do every day before I go to bed and when I wake up.

I have had the same problem, after having children, gets a little flabby, and the best exercises, is chew food slowly take a full glass of water to the table with you drink it all. if you get hungry between meals drink a tall glass of water slowly and eat a fruit, or some celery stick, carrots, something you can chew, tricks your brain.
If you do not have a gym, or a PE teacher at school, get on all fours like a dog, Im not kidding, then walk your hands to the left then to the right back and forth, You will begin to feel the stretching of your stomach muscles, if you don’t your not holding your stomach muscles tight or you not breathing right. If you have some of the wrist weights this help. But the main thing is your breathing, Inhale deeply walk hands to side, then back to middle letting air out slowly. Then raise your R leg, and your L arm straight out, hard to do at first, keep balance or you will fall flat on your face :D I did. It’s not much but breathing correctly and those two small exercises, along with general stretching or simple yoga, riding a bike or dancing (aerobics) 15 minutes 2 times a day or 30 minutes.( you cannot do this the first day, week, month,. you have to work at it gradually, add 2-5 more exercises to help other areas. also) in a year you can lose 60 lbs, 2lbs a month

mid twenties, female. I used to be 138lbs at 5,9", little muscle after a short bout of eating issues. then, for a new job prospect I started working out and upped my food intake to include carbs, and protein, and fats, etc in order to build muscle. I am slowly building muscle but I have rapidly gained weight. Up to 160 in 6 months. Everyone is telling me how i’ve gained weight but i see no improvement in the tone/definition/muscle department.
I workout about 4 days a week. I always start off with a cardio (mostly running 1.5-3 miles depending on the day) then I lift weights, one day upper, the next day lower. Of course the routines vary depending on my busy schedule. my stomach is getting bigger my the minute and my butt is expanding. What am I doing wrong. I want to continue to gain muscle, but I want to lose the weight that I’ve gained. Any help?

Do not do cardio and weight training on the same day. You want to fatigue your muscles by working to failure, and then give your muscles time to repair and grow.

Then begin a sensible healthy diet with low fat and sugar. Before long you should begin to see the weight drop off.

I have been doing lots of cardiovascular exercises to lose the fat arm!! But no matter how much exercise I do, the arm remains fat while the rest of my body became thinner already!! Is spot reduction a myth and is there such a thing as spot retention of fat?

If you’re a woman, fat tends to build up more in the arms, thighs, and around the waist. Try a full-body workout like jogging, or if you want to focus more on your arms, get some free weights.
