I am looking to lose belly fat and considering Alli weight loss pills, I do work out and try to eat healthy. Has anyone tried alli and how good does it work, is it worth spending the money.

I just bought the alli pills, I am limiting my calorie intake for each day to about 1200, I haven’t started the alli pills yet, but have already lost 9lbs in the past two weeks just with dieting alone. I am establishing a pretty low cal eating plan before I start. My friend has been doing the same and has been taking alli for the past week and has lost 5 lbs, she hasnt had any bad side effects. I think that you only get sick after you eat if you eat a meal high in fat. I got the startet kit that contained 90 pills, eating guides, journals, tips n tricks book etc. for only 25 dollars at target.

I need to start eating better and getting into shape to run a marathon in 4 months. I did a calorie calculator online (entered age, height, weight, and exercise amount) and established 2500 for maintain, 2000 for fat loss and 1500 for extreme fat loss. Are these the amount of calories I should be eating without including extra for exercise?

Example, if I need 2000 calories a day and burn off 300 calories daily from exercise, does that mean I eat 2000 calories considering the 300 i burn is already calculated into that or do I eat 2300 calories to make up for the 300 I burned?

The calories for exercise are not already calculated. So if you need 2000 calories and burn 300 in exercise then yes you need 2300. Also take into account that you burn calories with your everyday activities. Sitting, standing, cooking, brushing your teeth etc. So make sure your body is getting enough food so that you will be good and ready for your marathon. Go to the website I put under sources and it will tell you to enter everything that you do in a day and the amount of time you do it. Then at the end it will calculate your calories burned through the day. So then make sure to take those burned calories into account as well.

im 15 i weigh 115 pounds and im about 5,2 with 13% body fat
ok firstly i want to get to about 130 over the summer by taking protein shakes and working out will it mess me up if i take like a fat loss supplement,go in the sauna , run on the treadmails to loose that extra body fat .
secondly i need a two month totakl body workout i go to the gym 5 days a week i got all the time in the world im talking 2 hours +
so i need a program that will buff me up to about 130 then tone me up and i would like to reduce my body fat to about 8 % for a six pack and soccer

sounds like a good plan for basic bulking up check out muscle and fitness magazines when they have bulking up issues and get some good exercises other then that everything else your doing looks good..

Hi, I want to lose fat while maintaining muscle mass. Would 100% Whey Protein (ON) and L-Carnitine be a good and realistic combination to reach this goal? I’m a little short on money so that’s why I can only afford one type of muscle building & maintaining supplement and one type of fat loss supplement. And if that’s not a good combination, what would you say is?

First of all it is great that you are using a protein powder as the weight that you lose will be fat and muscle unless you are careful.

Try the following things to lose fat.

Eat very often, 6 or 7 times a day
Make sure that every meal has protein
Cut the carbs in your diet.
Since you are eating lots of protein make sure you are drinking enough water to metabolize it.

The most important thing to do to lose weight is to restrict calories while you are getting lots of exercise to keep your metabolism up. This is the reason that you need to take in the extra protein.
