Fat Reduction



Any of you yoyo dieters who haven’t already done so, might fancy doing a high protein diet plan in 2012? You might as well, you’ve probably done all else. If that sounds a bit catty please don’t take it to heart. I’m really scribbling down my own annual weight loss failures. Fat loss and I don’t seem to mix very well. I did lose some weight once with a diet high in proteins, but then I got injured over doing the exercise so lost heart and went back to what I do best, which is eat, eat, and eat more.

The saddest part of all is that fat reduction isn’t rocket science. Unless people have a medical condition which hinders weight loss, then anyone can lose weight if they really choose to. It would be a bit more comforting to think that most fat loss diets don’t work, but knowing that they do just hurts more with every failed attempt.

I will, like many others, be having yet another stab at fat reduction in 2012, and I’ll probably look at the high protein diet again. Whoever you are, wherever you happen to be in the world, I do hope you stick with your weight loss plans in 2011.

Why should any man bother to even attempt to tone stomach muscles and lose a fat gut if they don’t want the effort? The answer to that is no one has to do anything if they don’t want to, but by having a flat, of flattish stomach usually means you’ll be leaner just about everywhere else too. Clothes hang better, you feel more comfortable, and that bit of fat reduction will mean you’ll have more energy overall. There’s absolutely no downsides to having a nice trim tummy at any age unless of course eating all those greasy unhealthy foods mean more to you than your living body does!

A lot of people who fob off any exercise and healthy eating lifestyle as something for the more boring members of society want to think on. These people look better, feel better, move faster, get sick less often, and generally live longer, or at least live in good health longer, than those folks who walk around with their bellies 3 steps ahead of their shoulders.

You might want to cherish your body folks. After all, should you wear it out before its expiry date, you’ll have no other place to live :(
